Through a grant from The United Way of Greater Atlanta, PFCCAG can help you go through the DECAL Licensing process of starting an FCCLH home.

Who: This opportunity is open to anyone living in the 13 United Way of Greater Atlanta counties* but priority is given to residents of 12 zip codes, where few family child care homes are open.

How: A PFCCAG coach will help potential providers understand the rules and regulations for starting a family child care home, educate you on county/city requirements, and offer other start-up business and program information.

Benefits: Person accepted in the program will receive, a Start-Up Mini-Grant value of up to $1000 upon opening. Note mini-grants are subject to funds availability and will be explained at the time of enrollment.
*UWGA 13 Counties are Butts, Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Paulding, and Rockdale
