Build Back Better Act (HR 5376) Passes the House

On November 19th, the bill passed the House by a vote of 220-213. To put things in perspective the bill is over 2000 pages long but the section on child care and Universal Pre-K (Section 23001) is only a page and a half long. That means that only broad concepts are in the bill, and much will be worked out at the federal and state level if the bill passes in the Senate. You can read highlights of the bill .
