The Professional Family Child Care Alliance of Georgia (PFCCAG) is a statewide non-profit organization that represents licensed Family Child Care providers and child care advocates. Our mission is to increase access to high-quality early childhood home programs for children in rural areas of Georgia through the establishment of new Family Child Care Learning Homes (FCCLH) in each county of Georgia.

In 2020 we launched the Explore-FCC pilot project, which aims to reverse the decline of Family Child Care Learning Homes in 13 counties of Georgia. The project seeks to add capacity to meet preservice training and credential-degree requirements of FCC applicants and support licensed providers. Through this project, we will expand coaching and technical assistance services offered to new FCCLH providers to help them become sustainable businesses. Additionally, we will improve the Explore-FCC evaluation process to ensure that it meets the needs of the children and families we serve.
